Outdoor sessions are finally getting under way. We will be starting in Cintra Park on Wednesday 15th June at 7.30pm.

Cintra Park is near the town centre, off the A327 (Aldershot Road). If you know where the Sport Park is at Reading University, it’s just up the road on the opposite side from there.

With their participation at the London 2012 Olympic Games already confirmed, the Great Britain Men’s Volleyball team continue their preparations with a series of games against the cream of European volleyball this May and June.

The European League 2011 series will see the GB team face Portugal in Sheffield on 28 and 29 May, Slovenia in Sheffield on 10 and 11 June and Belgium in Crawley on 24 and 25 June.

Kendrick School will be available from 7.15 pm. Lucianon will be at Kendrick around 7.30 to do about 30 – 40 minutes body conditioning / Serving Excercises.

Anyone who wants to join is welcome.

The plan for the Club Night:

- 20 minutes warm up, stretching and conditioning exercises.

- 30 minutes ball warm up… and volley / digging drills (taken from recommended drills by our coach coordinator Christine!)

- 10 minutes hitting / serving (4-4-2 as in pre-match)

and then full match game mode for all attendees.

Per normal procedure with midweek friendly matches, the men will be training with the Spikeopaths on their club night.

Just a reminder that BVA training on Tuesday nights are for team members and by invitation only. If you are unsure if you are invited, men please ask Dave Fox or Christine Brown and ladies and juniors ask Claire Stent.

Club night on Mondays at Kendrick school are for all members.
