Indoor training

Training ramps up a gear now. With the summer quickly closing in on us, details of indoor training are below.

BVA (team training) Loddon Valley 7.30-9.30pm from Tuesday 14th September. An alternative venue is still under discussion and this may happen after Christmas.

Juniors training 7.15 – 8.15 Kendrick School from Monday 6th september – 18th april 2011

Club night  8.15 -10.15 Kendrick School from Monday 6th september – 18th april 2011

NVL Ladies ( by invitation) Bradfield wednesday 8-10pm from wednesday 25th August  – 13th april 2011

Membership rates for this season will be confirmed very soon.

Training 10th August cancelled

As it’s been raining pretty much non-stop for the last few hours and doesn’t
show any immediate likelihood of drying out, training tonight is off.

Apologies to all, hopefully we can have some tomorrow if the weather improves.

Committee list updated

The list of committee members has finally been updated and is in the “About” section. (If anyone needs to correct anything, let me know ASAP!)

Website downtime

Just a quick note to say that the website will be down for a maximum of an hour on Monday 24th May, at 9pm.

Outdoor volleyball

We had our 1st outdoor session of the year and it was very successful. Thanks to everyone who came down.

Next week Tuesday the 11th of May, same time – 18.30, same place, Sandford Park by Woodley Airfield Youth and Community Centre, Hurricane Way, Woodley, RG5 4UX.

Reading Aces Christmas Tournament – results

Congratulations to Team 2 (James, Gray and Anastasia) for winning Reading Aces Christmas Tournament held on Monday, 14th December 2009! Second place went to three teams (Team 1, 5 and 6), third place was been shared between Team 3 and 4).

Start: 8.15 pm (please come earlier if you need a proper warm up)
Who: all players from Reading Aces Volleyball club
Dress code: ‘80s volleyball style (not compulsory)
