Oxford Students are staying in Ladies NVL Div 2

The team finished 8th in Ladies Division 1 played a triangular playoff games against the two 2nd placed teams in Ladies Division 2. The winner will play in Division 1 in 2011-12 and the losers in Division 2. The fixture took place at the home of the team most centrally located. Please find below the results:

Our NVL Ladies consolidate their lead

Yesterday our NVL Ladies won against Tendring 2-3! It was a tough and very close game (26-24, 22-25, 14-25, 25-19, 13-15). MVP was Ally Newman. Please join us next Sunday, 13th March – we’ll need all your support as playing Guilfordand Plymouth.

NVL Ladies are back on top!

Still top of the league!

NVL 2 ladies confirmed their lead with the 0-3 win over Team Bath Ladies last Sunday, 5th December. In the first set they have destroyed the opposition 4-25, second and third sets were more challenging (20-25 and 21-25). Most Valuable Player was Vanda Scholeys (nr 2).

After nine games played in the first round, Reading Aces ladies are on the top of the NVL 2 South league with 25 points, closely followed by Oxford Students (22 points) and Team Southampton (18 points), both with one game in hand. Reading Devils are again the winners of Guernsey Volleyball Open Tournament 2010!

Second year in the row, Reading Devils Ladies have won Guernsey Volleyball Open Tournament 2010 taking place from 5th to 7th November in the Beau Sejour Leisure Centre in St Peter Port, Guernsey.
